In a bizarre crossover event that defies traditional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Disclosed

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of banned practices and fearsome transformations reverberate through the darkness." The storyline features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret cult.

The adventure focuses on "strange trials and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Extra Material

Players who accomplish the quest will acquire an unique katana alongside multiple objects secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
